Abstract:
The study of the heterogeneity of the structural composition of Ukrainian business in the context of external environmental uncertainty is driven by the need to develop an effective model for the economic development of the state during periods of crisis transformations. The current economic situation, characterized by deep geopolitical, financial, and social challenges, requires businesses to exhibit maximum adaptability, mobility, and readiness for strategic changes. In these conditions, structural heterogeneity, which ensures diversity in scales, management models, and industry orientations, becomes a potential source of resilience, recovery, and economic growth. The aim of the article is to provide a theoretical substantiaion and practical analysis of the heterogeneity of the structural composition of Ukrainian business in conditions of external environmental uncertainty, as well as to identify key problems and prospects for its development in contemporary crisis and post-crisis realities. The goal established includes identifying the characteristics of business classification and structural differentiation, assessing the impact of external factors on the functioning of entrepreneurial structures of different scales, and developing recommendations to enhance their resilience and competitiveness. The interconnection of elements of structural diversity in business under uncertainty has been studied. It has been determined that the structural diversity of Ukrainian business is a crucial factor for economic resilience in the face of external environmental uncertainty. The variety of organizational forms, scales of operation, and industry affiliation creates potential for flexible adaptation and innovative development. However, the effective implementation of this potential requires comprehensive state support, development of human capital, and the creation of a favorable institutional environment that ensures balanced economic growth and enhances business competitiveness at both national and international levels.

Keywords: diversity, Ukrainian business, uncertainty, external content.
