Abstract:
The aim of the research is to find ways to enhance the competitiveness of small agrarian enterprises. The main factors influencing competitiveness include the rational use of resources, technological modernization, and innovative approaches to production. Another significant factor is the cost of production, which serves as the primary indicator of the efficiency of production processes. To optimize costs, it is crucial to develop adaptive management strategies that enable enterprises to rapidly respond to changes in economic conditions. In the face of the modern challenges confronting the agrarian sector in Ukraine, especially in the context of wartime and post-wartime periods, boosting the competitiveness of products from small agrarian enterprises takes on particular importance. Agriculture is fundamental to the country’s food security and is also an important component of economic development. The war, which has led to the destruction of infrastructure, a shortage of labor, and rising resource prices, requires agrarian enterprises to adapt to new economic and market conditions. The study employs systemic and innovative approaches to the management of agrarian enterprises, involving the analysis of internal and external factors influencing their competitiveness. The assessment of competitiveness is based on profitability indicators, efficiency of resource use, production costs, and the quality of management processes. The main outcomes of the study are the development of a set of adaptive management solutions directed towards enhancing the competitiveness of products from small agrarian enterprises. The proposed methods for optimizing production processes can be implemented without significant financial costs, which is critically important in conditions of economic instability. The conclusions of the research emphasize the importance of integrating a systemic approach to the management of small agrarian enterprises, which will improve their competitiveness in conditions of instability. Reducing production costs and increasing the profitability of enterprises through management adaptation and optimization of production processes are essential for the sustainable development of Ukraine’s agrarian sector.
