Abstract: The article substantiates the importance of ensuring efficient logistics management, which allows for reducing transportation, warehousing and goods processing costs, ensuring a high level of consumer service, creating a unified system that that uses the enterprise’s resources as efficiently as possible, shortening order fulfillment times, and improving managerial decisions. The aim of the article is to scientifically substantiate the methodological foundations of logistics management in enterprise activities. It is argued that logistics management in enterprise activities encompasses a set of organizational, technical, and economic measures aimed at ensuring the efficient movement, storage, and handling of goods and services. The components of logistics management in enterprise activities include supply management, inventory management, transformation, storage and warehousing, distribution, information and communication processes, and logistics risks, each of which is characterized by the need to address a range of organizational, analytical, and other tasks. It is concluded that logistics management of an enterprise’s activities should be considered as a set of organizational, technical, and economic measures aimed at efficient planning, organization, control, and coordination of the processes of movement, storage, and processing of goods and services. A number of interconnections between logistics management and aspects of marketing and logistics, economics, and finance have been demonstrated. The scientific novelty of the research results lies in the deepening of methodological and applied recommendations regarding such a component of the enterprise management system as logistics management, the development of its principles, methods, and means of implementation. The practical significance of the research results lies in the development of solutions, the testing of which by economic entities allows for the improvement of logistics process management efficiency in domestic enterprises.
