Abstract:
The goal of the article is to conduct an inter-model reconstruction of the cultural profile of Ukraine through the comparison of the value dimensions of G. Hofstede’s model and the institutional variables of J. P. Murdock’s model. Methodologically, the study is based on an interdisciplinary framework that combines structural, value, and behavioral approaches to cultural analysis, using data from the Ethnographic Atlas, Hofstede’s indices (updated after 2022), as well as models of cultural competence (CQ, ICC). The results of the study demonstrate systematic correlations between historically established institutional patterns of Slavic cultures and modern behavioral indices. Special attention is given to the cultural dimension of uncertainty avoidance, illustrated by the example of the implementation of the digital platform «Diia». The article proposes a typology of indicators (structural, value, behavioral) as the foundation for an analytical tool to explore the cultural foundations of management practices. The limitations of the study are related to the lack of a direct empirical dataset for Ukraine in the Ethnographic Atlas base, which is compensated for by using Slavic analogues. The practical value lies in the ability to form culturally sensitive management strategies, effectively adapting international approaches to the local context, and predicting conflict zones in the processes of transforming management practices. The social implications of the research relate to increasing the cultural literacy of managers, strengthening intercultural communication, and considering deep structures in the development of reforms. The originality of the work lies in the integration of models of varying levels of abstraction and in building a unified framework for analyzing the transformative dynamics of culture in the managerial context.

Keywords: cross-cultural management, European integration, international business, cultural dimensions, institutional analysis, uncertainty avoidance, behavioral models.
