Abstract:
The development of small innovative enterprises (SIEs) is a complex multi-component process, the effectiveness of which is determined by the combination of market factors, the level of innovation novelty, the competitiveness of proposed solutions, and the quality of management decisions. An analysis of the human resource potential of modern SIEs has shown that in the overwhelming majority of cases, the management of such enterprises is primarily performed by research scientists rather than professional managers. In this regard, the rationale for the formulation of methodological recommendations for improving the management system of SIEs is substantiated. The article proposes an approach to developing managerial measures based on the classification of typical life cycle models of innovative enterprises. Five main types of strategies have been allocated, three of which are determined at the stage of strategic planning taking into account market conditions and the specifics of innovative activities. The other two are formed under the influence of internal and external factors during the operation of the enterprise. An analytical description of each model has been provided, as well as their alignment with the phases of the life cycle of small innovative enterprises (SIEs). This has allowed for the substantiation of the conditions under which each strategy type is appropriate to apply and to evaluate their feasibility for implementation. Finally, recommendations for the practical implementation of development strategies have been developed for each type.
