Abstract:
This article is dedicated to the analysis of the social consequences of robotization in the context of modern technological progress. The study examines both the challenges and opportunities that arise from the widespread implementation of automated systems across various sectors of the economy. Special attention is given to the impact of robotization on the labor market, social inequality, economic structure, and the role of the State in regulating these processes. The research characterizes the main trends of implementing robotic solutions in leading European countries (Germany, France, Italy, Spain) and Ukraine during the period from 2018 to 2024, with a forecast until 2026. Based on a comparative analysis of the dynamics of the level of robotization, it is found that the pace of automation development varies significantly between countries, which is determined by both the level of economic development and State support for innovations. Special attention is given to social challenges arising from automation: job loss, the growing gap between skilled and unskilled workers, and the concentration of profits among capital owners. At the same time, the positive effects of robotization are also highlighted: increased productivity, reduced share of heavy and hazardous work, and the emergence of new professions in the field of digital technologies. The author offers a set of measures to minimize the negative consequences of robotization. In particular, this includes investment in the education system and retraining of workers, strengthening social protection, regulating tax policy, and developing new areas of employment. The article emphasizes the importance of ensuring a fair distribution of the benefits of technological progress and the necessity of formulating State policy aimed at supporting social integration in the context of digital transformation. Thus, robotization is not merely a technical phenomenon – it is a powerful social factor that demands deep analysis, strategic planning, and proactive actions from the State, business, and civil society. This article contributes to the scientific debate on the balanced integration of innovation and social justice in the context of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The aim of this article is to analyze the social implications of robotization, identify the key challenges and opportunities it presents, and develop recommendations for minimizing negative impacts and leveraging the potential benefits of automation. In particular, it explores the effects of automation on the labor market, economic inequality, and the prospects for the development of new professions. The current stage of technological advancement is characterized by the extensive implementation of robotization and automation across various sectors of the economy. This significantly changes the labor market, raising concerns about job loss, social inequality, and capital concentration. The challenge is to find a balance between technological progress and maintaining social stability, ensuring equal opportunities for all segments of the population. Insufficient attention to this matter may lead to a widening gap between the rich and the poor, increased economic instability, and social conflicts.

Keywords: robotization, automation, social inequality, labor market, new technologies, economic development, digital skills.
