Abstract: The article provides a comprehensive study of the role of transport and warehousing logistics in ensuring the efficiency of logistics processes under the current conditions of Ukraine’s economy. It is substantiated that transport and warehousing logistics function as interconnected systemic elements of logistics systems, ensuring the alignment of material, information, and financial flows within supply chains and directly influencing the competitiveness of business entities. The article explains the essence of logistics in both its broad and narrow senses and identifies the role of transport and warehousing logistics within an enterprise’s logistics system. Particular attention is given to analyzing the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and the full-scale military aggression of the russian federation against Ukraine on the functioning of transport-logistics and warehousing systems. It has been proved that disruptions to traditional transport routes, infrastructure destruction, staff shortages, rising transportation costs, and limited warehouse capacities have significantly complicated logistic operations and necessitated a revision of the logistics strategies of Ukrainian enterprises, particularly regarding inventory management, regional redistribution of warehouse capacities, and ensuring supply chain continuity. Modern trends in the innovative transformation of transport and warehouse logistics have been analyzed, including the implementation of Transport Management Systems (TMS) and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), GPS monitoring technologies, radio-frequency identification (RFID), the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, and automated warehouse complexes. Their key advantages and limitations within the Ukrainian economic context have been identified, as well as the institutional, infrastructural, financial, and security barriers that impede the scaling of innovations.
Keywords: logistics, transport logistics, warehouse logistics, production logistics, integrated logistics systems, supply chains, efficiency of logistics processes.
