Abstract:
Strategic management of enterprise innovation development has become increasingly relevant in the context of rapid technological progress, digital transformation, and globalization. Innovation is no longer perceived merely as a tool for technological advancement but as a strategic resource that determines competitiveness in both national and global markets. Despite the growing volume of academic publications, the field still exhibits a degree of fragmentation in theoretical approaches and lacks a comprehensive understanding of the evolution of research paradigms. A systematic literature review combined with bibliometric analysis provides an opportunity to map the scientific landscape, identify dominant themes, key conceptions, and leading scholarly traditions. The aim of this study is to identify major trends in strategic innovation management at the enterprise level based on a bibliometric analysis of publications indexed in the Scopus database for the period 1993–2025, as well as to distinguish the core conceptual approaches through a systematic review of scholarly literature. The analysis of 258 publications revealed five key research directions: strategic innovation management, innovation product management, digital innovation, organizational resource management, and strategic technological development. The study also highlights the geographical distribution of scientific activity, as well as the most influential authors and publications that have shaped the academic tradition in the field of innovation-oriented strategic management.

Keywords: strategic management, innovative development, enterprise development, systematic literature review, bibliometric analysis, VOSviewer.
