Abstract:
This article examines the features of financial consulting development in Ukraine’s entrepreneurial sector amidst the growing challenges of wartime and economic instability. The aim of the article is to identify current trends in the development of financial consulting as a strategic tool for enterprise management and to determine structural changes in this sector of Ukraine’s economy. The article substantiates the foundations of the transformation of financial consulting from traditional accounting support to complex analytical activities integrated into the strategic planning of enterprises. Special attention is given to the changing role of financial information, which serves as a source for scenario forecasting, risk assessment, and financial modeling, rather than merely as a tool for reporting. The article presents a step-by-step model of financial consulting: from identifying the request and analytical modeling to implementing solutions and evaluating results within the strategic management cycle. The authors explain the connection between consulting and the long-term financial objectives of enterprises, highlighting the importance of synergy between financial, operational, and investment decisions. The main areas of financial consulting are identified as crisis management, financial optimization, and support for investment projects. It is argued that today financial consulting serves as an intellectual mediator between digital financial tools and managerial decisions. The current state of the financial consulting market in Ukraine is analyzed, its fragmented structure is outlined, and factors driving the demand for financial consulting amid business relocation, the search for funding sources, and the need to optimize costs in modern enterprises are highlighted. A pertinent direction for further research is the development of tools for integrating financial consulting into the strategic management of modern enterprises, as well as evaluating the efficiency of financial consulting models in the process of Ukraine’s economic recovery within the context of the challenges and threats posed by martial law.
