Abstract: The article examines modern leadership models and management instruments that can be applied to form effective teams in conditions of crisis and uncertainty. The authors emphasize that economic, social, and political crises create an environment of constant uncertainty, in which the ability to manage effectively becomes a key factor for the survival and successful development of a business. Leadership in such conditions takes on special significance, as the efficiency of the team and the strategic results of the business depend on the leader’s ability to quickly adapt to changes, inspire, and motivate. The article analyzes recent research and publications on management, leadership, and human resource management, including the works of scholars such as P. Drucker, R. Daft, B. Bass, R. Greenleaf, R. Boyatzis, E. McKee, S. Covey, W. Bennis, and W. Blank. The authors note that in a turbulent world, traditional management methods are losing their relevance, necessitating the development of innovative approaches to team building. The main aim of the article is to examine modern leadership models and management instruments that can be applied to form effective teams in conditions of crisis and uncertainty. The study employs empirical and theoretical analysis methods based on the study of trends in the application of approaches to defining leadership types and team management instruments. The authors highlight important aspects of effective management in conditions of uncertainty, such as the development of skills to work with multiple unknowns simultaneously, decision-making based on adaptive approaches, the development of an innovative corporate culture, and the ability to increase the speed of decision-making at all levels of the organization. The authors also emphasize the importance of employee engagement in organizational processes, which enhances their motivation, productivity, and loyalty. The article discusses the models of I. Adizes, R. Meredith Belbin, and Myers-Briggs Type Indicators (MBTI) as instruments for enhancing employee engagement and developing leadership. The authors provide recommendations for team formation in conditions of crisis and uncertainty, taking into account different personality types and roles within the team. Overall, the article offers a comprehensive approach to team management in times of crisis and uncertainty, emphasizing the importance of innovative approaches, adaptability, and employee engagement to achieve the strategic goals of the business.
