Abstract:
The aim of the research is to determine the role and main directions of innovative development of an industrial enterprise in the context of ensuring economic security. The article considers the importance of innovative development of an enterprise as a key factor in ensuring its economic security. The economic content of the concept of «innovative development of an enterprise» is disclosed. The main threats to the economic security of enterprises and the role of innovative strategies in minimizing risks are analyzed. Attention is focused on the need to develop a strategy for the innovative development of the enterprise, which involves the digital transformation of business processes, the development and improvement of the efficiency of scientific and research activities, investment in education and professional development of the enterprise's personnel, and the diversification of sales markets. It has been determined that one of the main tools for ensuring the economic security of an enterprise is innovative development, which allows it to flexibly respond to the negative impact of external and internal environmental factors, adapt to new market conditions, minimize risks, and increase the efficiency of its activities. The main directions of innovative development of an industrial enterprise in the context of ensuring economic security are proposed as follows: technological innovations, financial and economic innovations, organizational and managerial innovations, social and personnel innovations, marketing and strategic innovations, environmental and energy innovations. The use of technological, financial, organizational and environmental innovations allows an enterprise to increase its resistance to risks, reduce costs, increase competitiveness and ensure sustainable development in the long term. As a result of the research, it can be concluded that innovative development is an integral component of ensuring the economic security of industrial enterprises. To increase the economic security of a business, it is important not only to introduce new technologies, but also to form a culture of constant innovation and adaptation to change. Prospects for further research include the development of theoretical foundations for the formation of a mechanism for the innovative development of an industrial enterprise in the context of ensuring economic security.
