Abstract:
The article addresses current issues in strategic management of the efficiency of industrial enterprises. An analysis of the writings of renowned scholars and practitioners indicates significant gaps in the methodological support for strategic management of efficiency based on import substitution. The aim of the article is to substantiate the methodological support and provide practical recommendations for forming the strategy for the efficiency of industrial enterprise activities based on import substitution. The article develops a methodological approach to forming the strategy for the efficiency of enterprise activities based on import substitution, characterized by the content of stages, tasks, methods of resolution, and results of the implementation of these stages. Also, the difference of the developed methodological approach to the formation of a strategy for the efficiency of the enterprise on the basis of import substitution is that its basis, in addition to the conceptions of renowned scholars and practitioners, was the normative and methodological documents adopted by the legislative bodies of the country. The article also provides a list of indicators that reflect the achievement of the goals of the enterprise. On the example of JSC «Ukrainian Energy Machines», separate stages of implementation of the methodological approach to the formation of a strategy for the efficiency of the enterprise on the basis of import substitution are considered. The directions of import substitution of products at the specified enterprise and the content of the relevant pricing policy are presented. A system of indicators of economic potential and its use, which contains indicators of the efficiency of financial, marketing, production, investment, development of labor potential of enterprise, is proposed. The use of the proposed methodological support for the formation of a strategy for the efficiency of enterprise activities based on import substitution contributes to the enhancement of the substantiation for the implementation of the import substitution program and ensures economic stability in conditions of operational limitations.
