Abstract:
In the context of rapid digitalization of Ukrainian society, electronic document management has become an important element of modern business processes, capable of significantly enhancing the efficiency of enterprise management. The organization of effective electronic document management involves the integration of cutting-edge information technologies and electronic means for the creation, processing, storage, and transmission of documents without the use of paper carriers. An analysis of scientific research has shown a variety of approaches to solving the problem of organizing electronic document management, confirming the necessity for further study and improvement of methods and technologies to enhance its efficiency and security. The aim of the article is to develop a methodological approach to organizing effective electronic document management in enterprises, based on the comprehensive application of principles, regulatory and legal support, organizational measures, and information technologies. The main stages of the formation of the document circulation information system have been defined, and the process of the electronic document’s passage from the stage of creation and sending to execution and storage has been described. Special attention has been paid to the necessity of integrating the enterprise’s information systems to ensure uninterrupted document circulation and improve interaction with partners and government bodies. The implementation of the electronic document circulation system in enterprises has both obvious advantages and certain complexities that require a careful approach. Assessing these aspects allows enterprises to plan the transition to electronic document circulation more effectively and minimize potential risks. Prospects for further development of electronic document circulation systems are considered, particularly through the use of advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence, blockchain, cloud services, and cryptography, which enable raising the efficiency of electronic document management to a new level.

Keywords: electronic document management, electronic document, effective organization, regulatory and legal support, information technologies.
