Abstract:
This article is devoted to the study of non-State pension insurance in Ukraine. With the use of system and synergetic approaches, as well as methods: analysis and synthesis, balance, graphic, induction and deduction, monographic, comparative, statistical, tabular and content analysis, a study was carried out in order to assess the status of non-State pension insurance in Ukraine and to disclose its features and priorities for further development at the present stage of implementation of pension reform. The list of financial institutions involved in the implementation of the mechanism of non-State pension insurance has been determined, and the system of their relations has been disclosed. The features of the activities and responsibilities of the main subjects of non-State pension insurance are highlighted, the basic indicators of the functioning of non-State pension funds are analyzed. It is found that non-State pension insurance has not been able to attract a significant number of participants, and the investment financial instruments available in Ukraine severely limit the possibility of diversifying risks and obtaining investment income higher than inflation. It is determined that one of the important directions of development of non-State pension insurance is to promote the involvement of more banking institutions and insurance companies in this area, as well as to create favorable legislative and tax conditions for their effective interaction within the entire system of non-State pension provision. At this, the authors believe that non-State pension insurance is really able to minimize the negative impact of harmful demographic and other risks associated with the deterioration of the general economic situation in Ukraine in the conditions of the war unleashed by Russia, and become a prerequisite for maintaining a decent standard of living for citizens upon reaching retirement age and a source of long-term investment resources that are necessary for the economic development of our country.
