Abstract:
The article is aimed at determining the directions of social entrepreneurship to overcome the global problems of our time. Rapid scientific and technological development, the implementation of nano-, bio- and information and communication technologies in various spheres of society and the national economy, political and military conflicts, a number of environmental challenges, in particular against the background of the use of fossil fuels, rapid urbanization, etc., have led to catastrophic consequences that have become global and threaten the existence of humanity. Social entrepreneurship has great potential as an effective tool for solving global problems of our time. In addition to generating financial benefits, social enterprises focus their efforts on creating a positive impact on society, the environment, and the economy through innovative business models. The article identifies such groups of global problems of our time as natural and ecological; political and ideological; socio-demographic and humanitarian. It is determined that one of the effective directions of solving global problems of today is social entrepreneurship, which is a business model focused on solving social, environmental and economic problems while maintaining financial stability and profitability. The distribution of measures of modern social entrepreneurship is carried out in accordance with the solution of global problems of our time, to which its activities are directed. The main spheres of functioning of social enterprises in Ukraine are allocated.
